I don't like either. I find them too sweet. I prefear seven up or sprite. But i would choose pepsi if i didn't have any other options.

And I don't know about you all but pepsi with ice makes for a different taste as well which I like.

pepsy all the way! Troy, I agree with you. Ice makes it taste better for some reason.

Sir DJ Austin Razor,

You seem to be an entertaining type of person, asking to choose between having a Coke or a pepsy and then your reply of a Mountain Dew as a beverage you consume..

Hmmm now perhaps a bit like you and then maybe again not so much so..

Anyhow.. this it is I have found to be most appealing when perhaps getting on over say not feeling too well of a season of time:

Take a scoop of Mackinaw Chocolate Fudge Ice Cream (It is vanilla with like mini chocolate shape bricks scattered about ...similar to say Chocolate Chip Ice Cream only different) and place in a glass. Add a few marchino cherries or handful of fresh fruit ~ like raspberries and or dewberries (dewberries are similar to black raspberries only hmmm, somewhat different) Fill the remaining space of the glass with Vernors Ginger Ale ~ 'Tis non-alcoholic and what a lovely desert type of feel better beverage. For added taste sensation, spice can be nice.

Connie ~ Grace

Post Script:

If one were say, departing from as many calories as possible, then there is a diet Vernor's that could be used and too ice milk instead of the Mackinaw Fudge Ice Cream could be substituted while yet maintaining the addition of the fruit and spice.. Note: Other fruits could be used in place of those listed, like apricots for example.

Good Board Topic I might add.

Pepsi for me, and I agree that it does taste better with ice. But if in a restaurant that only has Coke products, I don't mind a Coke once in awhile, and it also tastes better in a glass with ice than out of a can.

We all know dew rules. Pepsy is good in a hlass. but nothing will ever take the place of coke.

Yeah wonder what makes pepsi taste better when it has ice? Maybe the water adds a better flavor or something.

Coke all the way.

Pepsi is my favorite, and I'll take it if I have a choice. But Coke is all right. Do any of you remember when you could get Coke and Pepsi in glass bottles? That's how it tastes best. Sometimes you can still find it that way.

pepsi all the way!

Post 18 by guitargod1 (I'm going for the prolific poster awards!) on Friday, 08-Dec-2006 22:36:56

Yeah. It does taste the best from glass bottles! I don't care for coke or pepsi in plastic bottles though. It's fine out of a can though. That tastes "right" to me.

I like both coke and pepsi but I think coke tastes a bit better. I don't like diet coke or diet pepsi.

Pepsi all the way, and it does taste better with ice.

I agree with South Park Fan. Diet Coke or Diet Pepsi is nasty. Most diet pop is gross, actually. Only one I like is Dr. Pepper. Which company makes Dr. Pepper, by the way? Does it fall under Pepsi products, Coke products, or is it on its own?

Honestly, if I could choose it would be Pepsi, although I'll drink Coke if it's the only choice. I find Pepsi is denser in a way and has more carbonation. Now, when I lived in Florida and Georgia, that's Coke country and after drinking nothing but Coke, when I tried a Pepsi it tasted mighty odd. Sometimes I'd just rather have a Sprite or Dr. Pepper or one of the flavors you can only get from the cheapie brands.
